Yoga classes
Mindful Strength Yoga
Please feel welcome in purposeful movement class to refine skeletal alignment and to wash away the chatter of the mind. We will work on proper posture, relaxation breathing. We use blocks to help reach the floor. In this class we practice lunges, downward dog poses, lots of work on keeping our strength in balance.
Tranquil Yoga
If you can put on your clothes and get up and down off a chair then you can do yoga!! We have a ledge if you don't want to get on the floor also! Tranquil yoga is gentle but has great movements of range of motion, movements to increase circulation and lymphatic movement through diaphragmatic breathing.
Meditation Session
Matt provides this wonderful gift of time and peace to you! Please join us for this gift to yourself! You may sit on the floor or a chair and as Matt provides guided mindful relaxation meditation. Matt has completed a trauma-informed certificate for coaches. You will feel welcome here! Free of charge.
Restorative Yoga
If your favorite part of yoga class is the meditation at the end then this is where you want to be! You only have to get off the floor once-bonus! This calss nourishes your mind body in the best way. Many blankets, bolsters and blocks are used to create supportive positions to passively stretch and relax deeply. You will enjoy each pose for 5-10minutes! You will start to crave this kind of deep relaxtion!
Morning Stretch
This is another class appropriate for everyone! This is a great class to try yoga for the first time! Vickey welcomes all levels to this class! She guides you through standing, sitting and lying down poses to help you feel awake and ready for your weekend
